RuPaul's Drag Race: Season 3 (4 Discs)

LOGO Explains the Lack of Season 1
Just like everyone else, I was ecstatic to see these shows finally get a DVD release. But just like everyone else, I had some questions I wanted answered before purchasing. Rather than freaking out and spamming the comments with "WHERE'S SEASON 1?!?!?!?", I decided to go straight to the source and ask the team over at RuPaul's Drag Race directly, via Facebook. These were my questions, and these were their answers:

Me: "Is Season 1 coming to DVD as well? And are the "Untucked!" episodes included with the Season 2 & 3 DVD's?"

LOGO: "Hi doll, lucite heels are clear, but some of our music for season one couldn't be cleared. Untucked isn't on the DVDs but lots of extras."

So understand ladies and ladyboys, they did try to put Season 1 on DVD, but licensing the music (probably Destiny's Child) was probably a bit too expensive. But don't be sad, Amazon sells all of Season 1 digitally, so at least you can own it in some form.

Where's Untucked??
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE!!! I will be the first one to buy this when it is released!!! Season 3 is definetly the best season of the show!!! Can't wait til we find out if theres a release date!!! and cant wait for season 4!!!

UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 3, 2012
I change my mind...season 2 is now my favorite after watching them for a second time! season 3 was still great but it just doesn't compare to the talent of Jujubee, Rave, Tyra & Pandora. 2 reasons were that some of the challenges were kinda boring & the MAJOR FAIL of bringing back Carmen and her getting illiminated that same episode...proving she shouldnt have been given a second chance

The reason i rated this a 3 stars is...

Because its missing the untucked episodes!!! Untucked is a huge part of the show. Several times they reffered to things that were shown in the untucked episodes...leaving first timers baffled. And yes i know that lOGO promised tons of extras instead...but after...

FINALLY!
RuPaul's Drag Race is my favorite guilty pleasure--NY Mag wasn't wrong, when it put it in the lowbrow/brilliant quadrant and claimed it's "the rare reality show where almost all the cast members are likeable." That said, Season 3 was especially addictive: a competitor from a past season comes back, and the drag game is brought to new heights with Mimi Imfurst and Carmen Carrera. I hope they include Untucked, the behind-the-scenes companion show, b/c it is a trainwreck I can't live without!
