Excellent DVD Highly recommended
This DVD has a lot of fills that can easily be applied to what ever your style. The PDF file is case sensitive when typing in the URL if that is any help. Randy has an approachable personality and throw in a little humor you will not be disappointed.
Great DVD
I had to add this after seeing the comment above the PDF file is downloadable and the site is on the dvd cover. The dvd is filled with lots of content and little to no B.S. Randy is a great instructor no boring junk just lots of useful information.
Off His Rocker a Little Disappointing
Recently purchased this DVD because of the trailer I saw on Vanz Drumming website promoting it and from watching previous videos of Randy Van Patten on You Tube. Overall, this is not a bad video and the content can be applied to practically all drumming applications. The main reason why I purchased it however, was that all the fills and patterns performed on the DVD would be transcribed. Unfortunately, when I played the DVD, I discovered there wasn't a PDF file containing the transcriptions. Having purchased other instructional drumming DVD's in the past, there is usually a PDF file or an included booklet that accompanies the DVD. My biggest problem with this DVD is that it becomes very tedious having to stop, pause and rewind to a specific section when trying to learn a groove, fill, or pattern. I do not think that the material on this DVD is extremely difficult but I find that it is much easier to learn and understand something by having a written transcription in front of you...
